Let's make our own dessert!

During the Reader 3 "Anansi's  Big Dinner", our students were introduced to various world's dishes and different cooking vocabulary, including action words, flavours and food types. To follow up the reader, we had a hands-on activity, which students could 'cook' their own dish. This year we have made a 'Sand Cup' , which is a layered dessert contained crushed biscuits, cream, bananas and jelly candies on top for decoration.
